I did my undergraduate work at Auburn University at Montgomery where I earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. I worked in the inpatient and emergency department settings. I also worked as a flight nurse on a rotary team during the latter half of my time as a nurse, while I earned a degree as a nurse practitioner. I then began working my way toward medical school and attended the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a career in emergency medicine. My wife and I have been married for 7 years and we are excited about being in Greenville. I am so thankful to have matched to such an incredible program and to be a part of this awesome intern class.

Hometown: Prattville, Alabama
Why Prisma EM? I really didn’t know much about the program or the area going in to interview season. But I had a great interview…a really great interview. The program met all my criteria I was looking for in a place to train. Everyone was so welcoming. The attendings were very interested in getting to know me and all the residents I spoke with seemed genuinely happy. My wife and I drove down while we were on vacation, and we fell in love with the city. I knew at that point this is where I wanted to train.
