My name is Jordan Griep. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids,Michigan, and had resided there most of my life prior to my trek down here to Greenville, SC. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Grand Valley State University, before taking a year and a half off to complete a research internship and work as a Surgical Support Tech. I then began medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine where I met my wife Claire, who is an orthopedic surgery resident here at Prisma as well. We decided we needed to get out of West Michigan, because if we hadn’t, we may have never left. Greenville was the perfect place for our next big adventure; the food, the people, and the location were exactly what we were looking for. On days off you’ll find me enjoying everything outdoors, playing or watching hockey and soccer, and spending time with our fur family including our miniAussie, Lola, and two cats, Artemis and Margot.
