Why Prisma EM? Why NOT Prisma?? The program allows for longitudinal exposure to both community and pediatric EDs throughout all three years of residency, a robust critical care experience, and the ability to explore various niches within emergency medicine. It was also clear the faculty were dedicated to the program, with each of them coming to Greenville specifically FOR the program. The biggest seller for me, though, was the people. From interviewing to visiting in person on a second look, each conversation I had was so easy and I felt welcomed by everyone. Plus, with the mountains and beaches so nearby and the growth the city is experiencing, Greenville is a pretty incredible place to live. Finding a place I could see myself being so sincerely happy was important, and I've definitely found that here.

When not at work, you can find me: Baking up a storm in my kitchen, walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail or hiking one of the state parks with my sweet dog, Cali, or exploring a new restaurant or brewery with any of my co-residents!

Interesting fact about yourself: I'm a certified barre instructor

Pets: My sweet dog, Cali, who's a mix between a brittany and blue heeler.

Favorite Novel or Movie: Remember the Titans

EM Interests: EMS/Prehospital medicine

Favorite thing to do in Greenville: Going on a walk or run on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and swinging through the Commons for coffee and a pastry at the end
