Sarah recently completed her Family Medicine Residency at Prisma Health Upstate Greenville, and achieved her board certification in Family Medicine. She decided early on in this training, however that she would like to pursue training in Emergency Medicine in order to fulfill her goal of working in academic medicine. As such, she has taken on the endeavor of three additional years of residency, to become the best possible physician for her patients. Ultimately, Sarah would like to serve her patients by helping them in the worst possible moments of their lives, but also guiding those without a healthcare home to the right place. She envisions practicing in an academic setting with a few days each week allotted to each specialty. She is excited to begin this new journey as an Emergency Medicine resident, and is thrilled to learn from some of the best teachers in the field (even if it is a little crazy!!). Outside of medicine, Sarah, and her wife Anna, can be found snuggling or playing with their 3 dogs Mac, Cheddar and Bacon. If the weather is kind, they may bike up to Traveler's Rest for lunch, or kayak on Lake Robinson with a picnic in tow and Cheddar on the bow. There is always an adventure to be had in Greenville.
