I grew up in Tolar, Texas, home of the Rattlers (both the school mascot and the actual snakes). I graduated from Tarleton State University, where I ran track for two years. After college I attended graduate school at University of North Texas Health Science Center, and then worked as an ER scribe and an ophthalmology technician before being accepted into medical school.
I couples matched with my boyfriend Nathan, who is an Internal Medicine resident at Prisma Health Upstate. We live with our clingy dog Hapa and our weird cat Haiku (aka Kitty McFluffins). As a first-generation college graduate and the first doctor in my family, I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to be starting residency in Greenville!
